Santa Brings a Lawsuit to Area Law Firms

11/25/2009

Grand Rapids, MI –  Siebers Mohney, PLC attorneys and staff are playing Santa’s elves for the 11th annual “Santa Brings a Lawsuit” donation drive to benefit Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids. Gently used professional attire is being collected December 1 through December 21 at the Siebers Mohney downtown office located at 99 Monroe Ave. NW, Suite 900.

The annual donation drive encourages attorneys, staff, and community partners to donate business clothing that will benefit the participants of Goodwill’s job programs. This year, an additional drop-off location has been arranged with MVP Metro Club located downtown at 33 Fountain Street NW. Clothing will be accepted at this location during the donation drive.

“We are asking our legal partners and the community to donate professional clothing that might help someone who is looking for employment,” says attorney Andrew Rassi, who started the program with attorney Jason Schnelker, both of Siebers Mohney. “By partnering with Goodwill Industries, we know that these items can make a difference in someone’s life.”

“The items collected during the “Santa Brings a Lawsuit” donation drive are always in great condition and give our participants a boost of confidence during interviews,” says Vice President of Community Relations Jill Wallace.

Clothing is first offered to Goodwill participants who may need updated professional dress clothes for job interviews. Then, donations are available for purchase at Goodwill Stores in the greater Grand Rapids area for retail customers looking for business apparel. “This particular donation drive helps collect business attire that is needed for the individuals that we serve, all while spreading holiday cheer,” says Wallace.
