Grand Rapids, MI- Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids has announced the appointment of Steve Harney as the nonprofit’s new Board Chair for 2018/19 and 2019/20. Steve was previously on Goodwill’s Finance Committee and has served on the board for 9 years. He began his journey with Goodwill as a Young Leader in 2008, a program that provided a platform for young professionals to be informed Goodwill advocates.
With a background in product marketing, brand management and marketing communications at some of the area’s largest companies, Steve is the owner of Full Circle, a marketing and brand experience company. Once the president of the West Michigan Chapter of the American Marketing Association, he now works with clients to help them with brand development and marketing strategies. His company, which started in 2002, has grown to 16 full-time employees.
