Grand Rapids, MI – Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids is proud to announce Elizabeth Wilson as the new Chair of its Board of Directors, as well as the addition of four new board members.
Elizabeth Wilson, Client Partner at Vervint, brings extensive experience in sales and client relations. She has served on the Board since 2021, most recently as Vice Chair. A dedicated advocate for Goodwill’s mission, Wilson has the forward vision required to further community impact and grow Goodwill’s programs and services.
“Our Board of Directors plays an important role in ensuring that we’re both thriving as an organization while maximizing our impact in the communities we serve,” said Jill Wallace, President and CEO of Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids. “We’re thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Wilson as Board Chair, and we are excited to rely on the professional insight of our newest members as we look to make an even greater impact in the years ahead.”
Joining the Board are:
Mike Irwin brings more than 15 years of experience in education. He has worked in several communities across Michigan, including Detroit, Holland and Grand Rapids. Mike currently serves as Executive Principal for Grand River Preparatory High School and Wellspring Preparatory High School, both part of National Heritage Academies.
Michael McKelvey has nearly 30 years of experience in human resources across distinct sectors such as manufacturing, construction, retail, and health care. Currently the Vice President of Associate and Community Engagement at Life EMS Ambulance, he is responsible for the strategic human resource planning of the organization, ensuring that Life EMS attracts the best talent available while positioning itself as an employer of choice.
Latricia Trice is the Founder and CEO of LTrice Marketing & Consulting, LLC, a full-service marketing agency. She brings with her more than 20 years of comprehensive experience in strategic marketing, communications, branding, and community engagement. She was twice named a “40 under 40” awardee by Crain’s Grand Rapids. Committed to giving back, Latricia has served on several local and statewide nonprofit boards and committees.
Seeing this as a full circle moment, Trice said, “I started my Goodwill involvement on the Young Leaders Board nearly 20 years ago, so it’s an honor to come back and serve as a board member. I believe in Goodwill’s mission and the meaningful work being done to empower individuals and strengthen our community.”
Tony Zwiers is a Certified Public Accountant with 17 years of experience. Most recently, he joined Hungerford as a shareholder in 2022 and specializes in working with closely held businesses in a variety of industries. In addition to assisting clients with compliance, planning and advisory services, he also has experience auditing non-profit organizations.
