Grand Rapids, Mich. – In honor of Martin Luther King day, Huntington Bank and Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids have created a new partnership in which the bank employees will volunteer their time to Goodwill’s 29th St. store location on Friday, Jan. 13.
The bank employees will help greet customers, replenish items in the store, and process donations. Additionally, the bank will be presenting a check to Goodwill with a match of the sales for the day. The following, week, Huntington Bank will be hosting a Goodwill donation drive in their West Michigan region locations from Jan. 17th through the 31st.
“Retail revenue goes towards job training services right here in the Greater Grand Rapids community.” Said Jill Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer for Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids.
