Grand Re-Opening for Goodwill’s 29th Street Store

Oct 11, 2017 | News

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Saturday, October 14 there will be a Grand Re-opening of Goodwill’s 29th St. Store at 9am. The celebration will include face painting, DIY Halloween costume contest, treats for the kids, and donuts.

The store, located at 3270 29th Street, was built in 2005 as Goodwill’s flagship store. Over the years it has seen thousands of shoppers. Progressive A & E worked with Goodwill on what the remodel should encompass and why. Customers were extensively surveyed and their suggestions were integrated into the new look which includes a sitting area and room for DIY instruction. The new colors bring a soft look to the Store and the up-cycled wood has a symbolic meaning to the volumes of daily thrifting. “This store speaks to a younger population, yet allowing for a very enjoyable shopping experience for every generation. That is what I most appreciate about the new look.” states Jill Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer.
